Please Read Before Booking 🌱

Deposit - Retainer Fee

Deposits are nonrefundable, please do not book unless you are certain. We will not respond to emails/messages regarding deposits. When you agree to the terms during booking, you accept that deposits are nonrefundable. If you have any issue with changing your appointment to a different service then email us, do not cancel. If you need to reschedule, you have up to 48 hours prior to your appointment to do so through your confirmation email.

Late Policy

After 15 minutes you would need to reschedule.

Late Cancellation

You have up to 48 hours prior to your appointment to reschedule through your confirmation email. If you cancel less than 48 hours then you will have to pay 50% of your service.

No Show Policy

If you do not show up then you will be charged 100% of the service.

Refunds

No refunds are given, only work promoted is done. If there is an issue, it will be addressed but there is no refunds.

Children

NO children allowed UNLESS being serviced. If your child is being serviced then headphones are recommended. Music is uncensored and diverse.

Headphones

If you have meetings, calls, or want to listen/watch videos then you need to wear headphones.

Food

No food is allowed on the floor, you may bring a light snack (chips, banana, apple, etc). You will be asked to eat in your car or waiting area if you bring food. Do not dump cups in the bathroom trash.

FAQ'S FOR Individual Crochet Locs

How Long Do The Last?

Up to 3 months, depending on maintenance. 3 - 6 weeks after initial appointment a retouch appointment is recommended. After 6 weeks, retouch appointment is not an option.

Short Hair / Long Hair

Your hair must be longer than 4 inches, if your hair require braiding hair (4-5inches) then add on “short hair” to allow your stylist the correct amount of time to complete your services. If you are uncertain, email us a photo at playhousebeauty@gmail.com.

For accurate time and pricing, add on long hair if your hair is passes your shoulder. Crochet locs are only 20 inches, if your hair is longer than 14inches, unfortunately you can't get them.

Maintenance For Individual Crochet Locs

At home care is simple, wrap it up! I recommend oiling your scalp with a serum or liquid once a week. Also, alternating between foam wrap and leave in conditioner for your curly pieces as needed not every day!

Removal of Locs

Simply use some shine spray or grease to break up the product before you take down your braids. Comb through hair to remove dead hair before shampooing! Take down video is on my instagram (@playhousebeauty).
